NASHVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 22, 2026 – The American Marketing Association Nashville Chapter (AMA Nashville) announced the election of Wesley Williams as President-Elect for the 2026-27 term. Williams, an experienced sales, marketing, and operational executive, steps into the role to help guide the chapter’s strategic vision, expand regional partnerships, and champion value for marketers across Middle Tennessee.
Williams currently serves as General Manager at Valpak Clipp, where he oversees sales and business operations across five major Southeast markets, including Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Memphis, and Birmingham. In his role, he leads multi-market teams delivering integrated direct mail, digital solutions, and community-centric marketing strategies for local and regional businesses. Under his leadership, his team achieved a significant multi-market business turnaround, earning 2025 Team of the Year honors along with Valpak’s prestigious Rewards Trip recognition in his first year as GM.
Prior to his election as President-Elect, Williams served on the AMA Nashville Board of Directors as Vice President of Sponsorship, where he continues to lead initiatives to establish corporate partnerships, expand chapter resources, and deepen relationships between the association and local business leaders.
“I’m honored to serve as President-Elect of AMA Nashville and excited about the opportunity to help lead an organization that plays such an important role in our business community,” said Williams. “Jacqueline Hayes has done an outstanding job leading our chapter, and I look forward to building on the strong foundation she and our board have established. I’ve always believed that great things happen when you bring talented people together, build meaningful relationships, and create opportunities for others to succeed. I’m excited to strengthen partnerships, develop future leaders, and continue growing the impact of AMA Nashville.”
Williams brings extensive expertise in go-to-market strategy, customer acquisition, team building, and revenue growth. His leadership philosophy centers on hands-on engagement in the field, coaching teams, and forging cross-sector alliances that drive measurable results.
“Wes brings to this role a proven track record of operational leadership, business acumen, and dedication to our chapter’s mission,” said Jacqueline Hayes, President of AMA Nashville. “As we continue to expand our programming, mentorship, and professional development offerings, Wes’s vision and energy will be invaluable in guiding the future of AMA Nashville.”
Williams will work alongside President Jacqueline Hayes and the executive committee during the current term before succeeding to Chapter President in the new fiscal year.
