Empowering Future Marketers: What to Know About AMA Collegiate Career Week 2026

/

Stepping from the classroom into a marketing career can bring as many questions as opportunities. From understanding shifting industry tools to deciding between agency, in-house, or remote work environments, emerging professionals benefit immensely from hearing directly from practitioners who have walked the path before them.

That is where AMA Collegiate Career Week comes in.

Taking place November 9–13, 2026, Career Week is a national initiative hosted by the American Marketing Association to prepare collegiate members to launch and sustain meaningful careers. Over the course of five days, marketing students from across the country come together for live workshops, recruiting sessions, and candid conversations with marketing trailblazers.

What Participants Can Expect

Collegiate Career Week is designed to provide practical, real-world tools that go beyond textbooks:

  • Industry Knowledge: Practical breakdowns of modern marketing disciplines, trends, and day-to-day realities.

  • Skill Sharpening: Live, interactive workshops covering career readiness, interview preparation, and personal branding.

  • Recruiting and Networking: Opportunities to connect with hiring representatives, industry mentors, and peers across nationwide collegiate chapters.

How Our Chapter Is Participating

Bridging the gap between the classroom and the marketing industry is at the heart of what we do. While AMA Collegiate Career Week takes place on a national stage, supporting emerging talent starts right here at home.

We’re currently exploring ways to connect our local professional community with participating students throughout the week. In the meantime, the best way to plug in is right here in Middle Tennessee:
